Belgrade to host 2024 CAPA Airline Leader Summit World & Awards

CAPA says that the summit is being hosted by the City of Belgrade and Air Serbia, the national airline of the Balkan nation

Over 250 global aviation leaders will gather in Serbian capital Belgrade on November 21-22 to discuss industry trends and innovations in global aviation industry at the 2024 CAPA Airline Leader Summit and Awards.

The 2024 CAPA Airline Leader Summit World & Awards for Excellence, an annual event organised by Centre for Aviation (CAPA), a leading global organisation of aviation experts, that begins in Belgrade on November 21 will see at least 250 global aviation industry leaders and experts in the gathering.

In a press statement, CAPA says that the summit is being hosted by the City of Belgrade and Air Serbia, the national airline of the Balkan nation.

The statement adds that the summit is expected to focus on current trends and the most important aspects of the aviation industry, and industry leaders will share their insights and professional conclusions about the future of aviation.

“The CAPA Airline Leader Summit World & Awards for Excellence brings together senior representatives of the most important global and regional airlines, airports, and other stakeholders in the air transport of passengers and cargo, tourism, and conference travel. After cities like Sydney, Singapore, Doha, Manchester, and others, Belgrade, together with the Serbian national airline, has the opportunity to host aviation industry leaders. The statement adds that during the CAPA Summit, airlines and airports that have excelled in 2024, distinguishing themselves as leaders and innovators, will be awarded for their excellence. Awards are planned in the following categories: Airline/Airline Group of the Year, Low-Cost Airline of the Year, Regional Airline of the Year, Airline Turnaround of the Year, Start-up Airline of the Year, Large Airport of the Year, Medium Airport of the Year, Regional Airport of the Year, Airline Executive of the Year, and Innovation of the Year.
