Low-cost subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, AJet has announced the launch of new routes as part of its expansion efforts, adding four cities in Saudi Arabia and two popular destinations in Egypt.

According to a press statement by AJet, starting October 1, 2024, AJet has begun services connecting Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Jeddah, Riyadh, Medina, and Dammam, expanding its network to 95 destinations across 32 countries. Travellers can also enjoy flights to the Egyptian resort cities of Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada.

“We are proud to offer affordable travel while expanding our presence in key regions. These new routes will connect Türkiye to important destinations, providing both business and leisure travelers with greater flexibility and access,” says Kerem Sarp, General Manager, AJet.

The statement also adds that the addition of five weekly flights to Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada comes just two months after AJet launched flights to Cairo. These new routes are expected to attract European and Turkish tourists looking for budget-friendly access to Egypt’s popular Red Sea resorts, enhancing travel options to these sought-after destinations.

In contrast to its parent company Turkish Airlines, AJet focuses on delivering affordable, no-frills air travel, connecting popular tourist and commercial hubs with efficiency and reliability.
