The revised schedule makes Air India flights among the fastest options for these routes
With its long-term vision of building India as a global transit hub, Air India says it has optimised its international network to offer faster connections between the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and South-East Asia, promoting seamless travel through its ‘Via’ campaign and key hubs.

In a press statement Air India says that the airline has reduced connection times to approximately 2.5 hours and launched a marketing campaign, ‘Via,’ to promote India as a global transit hub.
It adds that the revised schedule makes Air India flights among the fastest options for these routes, with streamlined transit at Delhi’s Terminal 3 and Mumbai’s Terminal 2.
Air India says that these hubs enable same-terminal transfers for travellers, with additional lounge access for Business Class passengers, Maharaja Club members, and Star Alliance elites.
It adds that the ‘Via’ campaign, running until March, aims to raise awareness among UK travellers about available flight options via India.
“India’s geographical advantage and impressive airport infrastructure, combined with Air India’s robust route network, offer convenient one-stop access for travellers from the West to East and vice-versa,” says Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India.
