Air India Express launches ‘Payday Sale’

The airline’s website is offering deals for loyalty members, including exclusive discounts on upgrades to Xpress Biz seats

Air India Express, a low-cost subsidiary of Indian flag carrier Air India, has launched its ‘Payday Sale’, offering Xpress Value fares from INR 1,499 and zero check-in baggage ‘Xpress Lite’ fares starting from INR 1,429 available for logged-in members booking on the airline’s award-winning website.

In a statement, the airline says as part of the offer, bookings made on the airline’s website can enjoy zero convenience fees. Xpress Lite fares come with added benefits, such as the option to pre-book an additional 3 kg of cabin baggage at no additional cost and discounted check-in baggage rates, with 15 kg available for INR 1,000 on domestic flights and 20 kg for INR 1,300 on international flights.

The statement adds that the sale is for bookings from March 28 to March 31 for travel between April 1 and September 20. Additionally, the airline’s website is offering deals for loyalty members, including exclusive discounts on upgrades to Xpress Biz seats, the airline’s business class. Logged-in loyalty members can book deals including 25 pc discount on ‘Gourmair’ hot meals, seat selection, Xpress Ahead priority services, 10 kg Xcess Check-In Baggage and 3 kg Xtra Carry-On Baggage.

According to the statement, the airline will soon operate over 500 daily flights across 54 destinations covering India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. It has also commenced operations from Hindon Airport in the National Capital Region (NCR).
