In a significant move to enhance connectivity, Air India Express, a subsidiary of Air India, has announced the launch of direct flights from Hyderabad to Phuket in Thailand. This new route strengthens the airline’s presence in Southeast Asia, offering more travel options for Indian passengers. The launch reflects Air India Express’s commitment to expanding its network and improving regional travel connectivity.

In a press statement, Air India Express says that direct flights between Hyderabad and Phuket will operate three times a week, on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, starting January 31, 2025. It adds that from February 15, the frequency will increase to six times a week, with daily flights except Tuesday.

Air India Express says that to celebrate the launch, special inaugural fares are available, with Xpress Value fares from INR 11,000 and Xpress Lite fares from INR 10,500, along with additional discounts for loyalty members on website and mobile apps.

It adds that, following the addition of Dimapur in November, the airline has announced Dibrugarh in Assam as a new station. Direct flights will operate from Dibrugarh to Guwahati, with the same aircraft continuing to Delhi, offering convenient onward connectivity for travellers to the national capital.
