Air India inaugurated its daily, non-stop flights between Delhi and Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
In a press statement, Air India says that the inaugural flight, operated by Airbus A320neo aircraft, landed at Kuala Lumpur at 20:43.
The statement adds that Kuala Lumpur becomes Air India’s sixth destination in Southeast Asia, further strengthening its presence in the region and a steadily expanding global route network.
Air India says its service to Kuala Lumpur offers a new flight option to an increasing number of travellers between India and Malaysia, and it opens new connections for Malaysian travellers to access Air India’s worldwide network that spans five continents.
The statement adds that AI flight AI384 leaves Delhi at 13:00 daily to reach Kuala Lumpur at 21:00 the same day. On the return leg, flight AI385 departs from Kuala Lumpur at 08:30 to arrive in Delhi at 11:25 the same day.

The airline says that its new flights to Kuala Lumpur enable seamless, same-terminal, one-stop connections for travellers from North America and Europe via Delhi.
Besides Kuala Lumpur, Air India flies non-stop between India and five points in Southeast Asia, namely Singapore, Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Yangon in Myanmar, the statement adds.
