Air India operates 82 weekly flights from the UAE to India

Tata Group airlines Air India and Air India Express have appointed DNATA as their General Sales Agent (GSA) and Representative Agency (RA), respectively, in the UAE.

Aiming to strengthen its presence and customer engagement in the UAE, Indian airlines Air India and Air India Express have chosen DNATA as their General Sales Agent (GSA) and Representative Agency (RA), respectively. This appointment was formalised at this year’s Arabian Travel Market (ATM).

In a press statement, Air India stated that under the partnership, DNATA will provide sales, marketing, and distribution support for both carriers across the UAE, except for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

It adds that through this move, the airline aims to improve accessibility for both travellers and trade partners while supporting its growth in the region.

According to the press statement, Air India says that it operates 82 weekly flights from the UAE to India, while Air India Express with over 240 weekly flights serves five cities in the UAE, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah. Additionally, UAE is a largest international market for Air India Express and remains crucial for serving millions of Indian expatriates and other travellers.

As per a press statement, the Indian airline says that with a growing network of 45 domestic and 43 international destinations operated by Air India, and 38 domestic and 17 international destinations operated by Air India Express, it continues to invest in partnerships and service enhancements to connect India to the world.
