As a part of its target to attract more arrivals from the GCC, Europe, North Africa and Asia markets, Air Arabia has launched its new daily non-stop flights from Sharjah, an Emirate of the United Arab Emirates, to Malé in Maldives.

Emirati low-cost carrier Air Arabia has launched its new daily non-stop flights from Sharjah International Airport to Velana International Airport in Malé, the capital of Maldives

According to a press statement by the national tourism board Visit Maldives, this strategic route significantly enhances travel options for passengers from key markets across the Middle East, Europe, North Africa and Asia, making the Maldives more accessible than ever before.

The statement adds that this move comes as a strategic plan to see increased tourist arrivals from the Middle Eastern, European and Asian markets in the Maldives. 

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has been actively promoting the Maldives’ accessibility and world-class offerings, and this partnership with Air Arabia supports its mission to drive sustainable tourism growth.
