Aeroprime Group, an Indian aviation and travel services group, says it has been appointed as the exclusive cargo General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) in Delhi for Thai Airways, effective September 1 this year.
According to a press statement by Aeroprime, this strategic partnership marks a significant milestone for it to reinforce its position as the market leader in the cargo sector and enhance Thai Airways’ cargo operations in India.
The statement adds that in its new role Aeroprime will manage and oversee cargo sales, marketing and operations of Thai Airways. This partnership aims to bolster exports from India, leveraging the airline’s superior logistical operations and facilities to manage all types of cargo, including perishables and temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals, etc.
The statement adds that Thai Airways operates a diverse fleet of over 77 aircraft, including Airbus A320, A350, A330 and Boeing B787, B777, among others. The airline services numerous destinations across Thailand, the Asia-Pacific region and Europe.
Currently, it operates three daily flights and that increase to four flights every Saturday between Delhi and Bangkok, offering direct connectivity between India, Thailand and beyond.
Aeroprime says that through this partnership, Indian businesses and exporters will be able to confidently tap into the Asia Pacific market thanks to Thai Airways’ vast network and exceptional operational excellence.
This collaboration aims to further streamline and optimise the airline’s cargo services, ensuring efficient, reliable, and seamless logistics solutions.
