Capitalizing on the massive growth potential offered by the Indian outbound traveller segment, the 48-member South African trade delegation will take the opportunity to educate and enable Indian trade partners to sell the destination better. Interestingly SAT's roadshow decided this year to focus only on Tiers 1 cities Bangalore and Mumbai and Tiers 2 city Pune.
Speaking about the 2020 edition of the Roadshow, Neliswa Nkani, Hub Head – MEISEA, South African Tourism says, “This year’s edition is slated to be even more special and exciting with the attendance of numerous South African SMMEs”
Between January to September 2019, the destination welcomed 72,807 Indian visitors to South Africa as compared to the 70,558 visitors during the same time period in 2018.
South Africa Tourism will also for the first time participate in SATTE 2020 in January in New Delhi.
